A unique concept where everyone lives in a world where no one can tell a lie. At first it seemed odd because for some reason not being able to lie also meant volunteering unnecessary information. Aside from that, the movie made a great attempt to show a world where we didn't possess the ability to lie. Human interactions were completely based on face value. The movie eventually shows that the world isn't actually any better or worse as a result of it, but that our decisions are really what have true consequences. It was also interesting that the movie presented the argument that without lying there would be no religion in the sense that we know it today, and that without the concept of God we would not be distracted with what we would consider to be our traditional values of today. Almost scientific and a factual process of elimination. Luckily, good old fashion love conquers as it expected in our Hollywood films.
